The Alphanumerics Lab is centered at Emory University Department of Biomedical Informatics (DBMI). Our research interests include the development of devices, algorithms and software for the acquisition and processing of biomedical signals and data. Together with our clinical associates, industrial collaborators and partners labs, we are committed to providing solutions and developing operational systems for real-world biomedical applications.

The competence of our research team, the exceptional DBMI infrastructure and a direct access to one of the world’s largest clinical datasets at Emory University has provided us a unique opportunity to contribute to different areas of Biomedical Informatics. Our current applications include cardiovascular systems and diseases, multichannel and multimodal patient monitoring systems, mobile and distributed healthcare systems.

Some of the featured projects and job openings in our research lab are highlighted in this page. We highly welcome and actively seek interdisciplinary collaborations with other groups worldwide. Please feel free to contact us in case of interest.
